Silver Sneakers is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults.
SilverSneakers is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events. SilverSneakers-specific classes and other senior-appropriate classes    
    • H2O Aerobics (mornings): Monday through Saturday  9:00 - 9:45 AM 
    • H2O Aerobics (evenings): Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday  6:00 - 6:45 PM    
This invigorating water class allows you to control your own workout intensity. Workout at your own level while toning muscle, improving flexibility, and moderately increasing your heart rate. The water provides resistance to the muscles as it removes much of the impact to the joints.  
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength,range of motion, and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated or standing support.
                      * Chair Yoga:  Thursdays 10:10 AM - 11:10 AM

Yoga for Beginners: Start your day with a balanced yoga practice designed to energize and stretch the body while calming the mind. This gentle flow inspired class will focus on bringing length to the muscles, flexibility to the spine, strength to the core and balance to the mind, all the while using the breath as the guide. Poses will be adapted for all levels of experience and body types.


Chair Yoga: a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. Chair yoga postures are traditional postures modified to be done while seated in a chair. Modifications make yoga accessible to people who cannot stand or lack the mobility to move from standing to seated to lying positions.

This class offers dance instructions in a fun atmosphere. This is a great way to learn party-line dances and get an effective workout. 
    • Tai Chi: Tuesdays at 8:30 AM and Fridays at 8:30 AM  

Tai Chi has been recognized as one of the most effective ways to maintain health.

This Tai Chi class will begin with a traditional Qi Gong 

called “Embrace the Tree” which allows you to relax. You will loosen the joints, engage in Qi gong exercises, learn the Yang Tai Chi form, 
and study each movement separately. New Tai Chi students may join this class at any time, while experienced students will 
continue to evolve .
    • Arthritis Foundation Water Class: Monday through Friday at 12:00 PM   

Improve your joint mobility and muscle flexibility in a gentle, water exercise program. Class consists of water walking, joint range-of-motion exercises, muscle strengthening and stretching. Experience mild to moderate exercise in our warm wellness pool. This class is relatively stress free because buoyancy supports about 90% of your body weight.
